Performance Profile

The Iowa School Performance Profiles (ISPP) is an online resource that displays how public schools are performing across various indicators.

Iowa’s state plan for school accountability and support, developed under the federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), integrates the state's accountability systems. It emphasizes high expectations for all students, promotes evidence-based teaching strategies, and prioritizes collaboration with schools requiring the most support.

The ISPP website provides scores for accountability measures mandated by ESSA, along with school ratings and designations for support and improvement (Comprehensive and Targeted) based on these scores.

Additionally, the site features other publicly reported data required by state or federal law that do not contribute to a school’s accountability rating.
